A furious car driver has opened fire due to a parking space feud at a restobar in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

A 47-year-old man has opened fire at a restobar in Timog Avenue, Quezon City due to the vehicle blocking the driveway. However, the police officers roaming in the area witnessed the incident while implementing the health protocols in the area.

The cops immediately respond and arrested the suspect. The suspect’s 25-year-old son has been also arrested after using his firearms. The public also mauled the suspect’s son for using his gun recklessly.

“So considering the quick response of our PNP member itong Kamuning Police Station personnel, naharang natin paalis na itong ah sinasakyang Adventure nitong mag ama kung saan immediately naharang ng ating pulis,” P/Lt Colonel Elizabeth Jasmin, Station Commander ng QCPD Station 10 said.

The furious driver even tried to hide his firearm but the authorities discovered it under the hood of his vehicle. The residents in the area have also expressed their fear due to the incident.

The young suspect admitted that owned the gun but did not intend to use it. The latter explained that it was an accidental firing while he is playing with the .38 caliber pistol. PNP confiscated the firearm and impounded the SUV at Kamuning Police Station.

“Wala po naman kaming napinsalang tao, Nadala lang po ng alak. Wala naman pong nasaktan o ano, sana lang po mabigyan lang po ng bail. Mabigyan lang po kami ng bail,”  the younger suspect said.

Jasmin said that the firearm has no document. The suspects will face charges of illegal possession of firearms as well as alarm and scandal.
