Frustrated Farmer Bursts Into Tears After Unidentified Suspect Stole His Harvests and Burns His Thresher
A poor farmer bursts into tears as he expressed his frustration after an unidentified suspect stole his harvest and burned his machine.
A 52-year-old farmer identified as Gerbacio Caceres of Barangay Fabrica in Bula, Camarines Sur gets emotional and cried after his rice harvest got stolen. The unidentified suspect has even burned his machinery.
Caceres revealed that he load a huge amount of cash to buy the machine. He bought the machinery last year, which he used for threshing. He is supposed to use the machine during the day his harvests were stolen.
“Yung makina, iniwan lang namin dun sa sakahan nung isang araw kasi hindi pa kami tapos pag-thresher. Tapos kinaumagahan, ‘yun na ‘yung nakita ko. Napaiyak na lang ako sa nakita ko,” Caceres said.
The poor farmer has no idea who is responsible for committing such an inhumane act. His children have also expressed their disappointment regarding the incident. Three of the farmer’s children are still studying in college.
“Pinapasa-Diyos ko na lang po ang nangyari. Hindi ko po alam kung sino ang pwede gumawa nito sa akin. Wala naman po ako ditong kaaway o nakaalitan sa lugar namin,” Caceres added.
The incident happened at Brgy. Fabrica, Bula in Camarines Sur on Monday morning (May 23, 2022).
