Farmers Express Disappointment After Unidentified Suspects Burned Their Newly-Harvest Corns

Several farmers have expressed their frustration after unidentified suspects burned their newly-harvest corns.

The Facebook page “Russel Simorio GMA” has shared the heartbreaking photos of newly-harvest corns that turned to ashes after burned by unidentified suspects. The photos circulate online and elicit comments online.

In the photos, it can be seen that several sacks of corns have turned into ashes after some suspects burned them. Luckily, some sacks of corns remain unharmed and still good for human consumption.

The farmers have expressed their frustrations due to the incident. They were supposed to sell the corns to earn money and provide for the necessities of their families. The incident causes loss of income to the farmers.

“Sinadya din po sinunog yung ibabyahe ko na po sana kaya lang sinunog po,” one of the owners named Marga said.
