Vice Ganda got emotional during his recent visit to a comedy bar
Comedian-host Vice Ganda reminisced his humble beginnings as a stand-up comedian in comedy bars.
Vice has come a long way from the time he would have nightly gigs in comedy bars and now that he is considered one of the prominent comedians in mainstream media.
Throughout the years, his stints on TV and in movies are being recognized and loved by many. Despite the success that he has achieved, Vice Ganda is still looking back to where he started.
In his recent Twitter post, the Unkabogable Star shared that he visited a comedy bar and he got emotional upon remembering his humble beginnings. “Went to a comedy bar tonyt. Saw some familiar faces. Got emotional while watching them on stage. Saw myself. My beginnings. My heart was joyful,” he said.
Vice also expressed gratitude for all that he has achieved. He shared as well, a message to all the people who are working in comedy bars. “Couldn’t help but to say THANK YOU LORD repeatedly in my mind. To all the comedy bar performers and staff you will always be special!” the Unkabogable Star said.
Meanwhile, Vice never forgets to give back to the community and other people. With all the blessings that he has received over the years, there is always a time that he is also helping other people just like what happened recently.
Vice Ganda P5,000 each to over 100 staff and crew of the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime. He also gave P10,000 each to five chosen viewers. These are not just the recent charitable endeavors that he did. Vice also paid for the medicines of random people in a pharmacy and he treated two strangers to a shopping spree.
