President Duterte Lauded Loren Legarda for Notable Contributes in PH
President Duterte lauded Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda for her major contributions to the country as a lawmaker.
Earlier this week, President Rodrigo Duterte made his speech during the campaign rally of PDP-Laban in Rizal province. The president discussed different issues and praised Legarda for her notable contributions.
Mr. Duterte noted the major contributions of the female lawmaker such as free college education, universal healthcare program, salary increase for government personnel including policemen and soldiers as well as irrigation for farmers.
The Philippine president explained that the law authored by Legarda helped to resolve the problems of Filipino citizens over the past few decades. He also explained that Legarda provides a quality service for her countrymen.
The nation leader expressed his support for the veteran lawmaker for the upcoming 2022 national and local elections. Mr. Duterte also described Legarda as worthy of his endorsement in the Philippine Senate.
The country’s leader revealed that Legarda did not hesitate to support budget amendments for the welfare of the Filipino people. Legarda also served as a chairperson of the Senate Committee on Finance.
Yan ang some of the few na achievements niya,” Duterte added.
