Loren Legarda Will Not Speak About Her Son's Controversial Open Letter

Aspiring senator under Uniteam Loren Legarda had no reaction to the open letter of her son.

LOREN LEGARDA – Politician Loren Legarda was disowned by her own son through an open letter but she opted to not give any reaction to it.

An open letter from Lorenzo Legarda Leviste caught massive attention online. In this letter, he expressed his dismay and disappointment at her mother for her alliance with the Uniteam headed by the Marcos-Duterte tandem. He spews strong and fiery words against his mother and the most heartbreaking part of it was when he said that she just lost her son forever.

He called her allies criminals and he just can fathom how, the woman who taught her to value truth and justice, turned out to be like this. He expressed, “The decision she’s made is so profoundly unthinkable, unconscionable, unforgivable.”

“My mother is an example of how fascism takes hold, is made acceptable, normalized, facilitated, ushered in. I need you to know that she has no clue about the utter gravity and depravity of what she is doing,” he added.

He’s in utter grief and closing his open letter, he quipped that their crimes are now his mother’s crimes.

And now, in a report from PEP, a deputy speaker of the House of Representatives close to the aspiring senator revealed that she will not speak of anything regarding her son’s open letter.

While many commended Lorenzo’s firm stand and belief, many are also sympathizing with Loren. Being disowned is devastating and heartbreaking.

In the same letter, Loren’s son revealed that they have not seen each other for a decade now.
