Robin Padilla dedicated Tagum rally to Loren Legarda
Senatorial candidate Robin Padilla sympathized with his fellow senatorial candidate Loren Legarda following the viral open letter that her son published against her.
Lorenzo Leviste disowned his mother for supporting the presidential candidacy of Bongbong Marcos and his running mate Sara Duterte as she is one of the senatorial candidates of UniTeam. This garnered various reactions from the online community and supporters of two rival political camps.
“I need everyone to know that Loren Legarda lost her son forever because of this. Paint her bright red with that shame. Don’t let her forget it. In the words of a wise woman: I don’t know her,” Lorenzo wrote in his open letter.
During the UniTeam campaign rally in Tagum City on May 5, based on the article in PEP, during the speech of Robin Padilla, he shared his reaction to the issue that was brought by Loren Legarda’s son’s open letter.
He said that he dedicates the campaign rally to Loren. “Sapagkat nais ko pong iparating sa inyo, Ma’am Senator, talikuran man kayo ng mga taong malalapit sa inyo, hinding-hindi kayo tatalikuran ng anak ng bayan!” the action star said.
Robin Padilla also said that the sons and daughters of the Philippines will never forsake Loren Legarda. After this, the senatorial candidate aired his “patutsada” against his critics from other camps, those who are saying things against him. “Ingles ‘yan! Akala nung sa kabila, makakaya nila akong apihin? Hindi nila tayo kayang matahin,” he said.
In a previous article, it was stated that despite the strong words against her, Loren Legarda refused to say anything or give her reaction to the open letter of her son slamming her political views.
