SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS – This is the function of subordinating conjunction and some examples in a sentence.

What makes a dependent clause connected to an independent clause is the subordinating conjunctions. They are words or phrases and these words or phrases indicate an added informative value, cause-and-effect relationship, and a change in place and time of the two clauses. It always comes at the beginning of a dependent clause.

Subordinating Conjunctions
