Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Reveals Final Date, Venue For Coronation night
MISS UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES 2022 – The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) organization has revealed the final date and venue for the coronation night.
The delegates for the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 (MUPH) were officially introduced to the public on February 28, 2022. From 50 candidates, they will be narrowed down to the final 30. “This edition is made more exciting by starting with 50 official delegates! We’re narrowing the field to get us closer to our Final 30 delegates,” MUP said.
Among the familiar faces in the local pageant are Michelle Dee, Julia Saubier, Pauline Amelinckx, Celeste Cortesi, and Katrina Llegado.
This year, the Miss Universe Philippines organization collaborated with Kumu for an “interactive pageant” where the delegates will go through “fun live streaming tasks,” “daily and weekly kumustahan segments,” and “interactive exclusive shows.”

Based on a report from Philstar, MUP has begun its Livestream challenge on Kumu, and pageant fans are encouraged to support the ladies by watching the live stream sessions on the said video sharing platform.
The delegate with the most number of total unique viewers from March 2-15 will have her own choice of makeup artist during the prelims. The candidate with the most number of new followers from the Sprint contest will get her own Kumu room during the preliminaries.
Miss Universe Philippines National Director Shamcey Supsup-Lee, during a chat session with beauty queen MJ Lastimosa, revealed that the ladies will also undergo the same hurdles as the candidates last year – which are Intro Video, Headshot, Interview, and Runway challenges.
The coronation night will unfold on April 30 in SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. And to host this year’s MUP are beauty queens Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
