APRIL FOOLS DAY – A male netizen has decided to prank several delivery riders during the April Fools Day.
A Facebook user named Vberni Regalado has shared the screenshot of his conversation with several delivery riders he pranked during the April Fools Day. The post goes viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
Regalado has decided to pull a prank towards some Grab Food riders. However, he pulled the prank with a twist and implemented it with a good intention. He pranked the delivery employees and gave them the food he ordered.
Vberni ordered several foods from various delivery workers but messaged them not to deliver the food. He told the rider to bring the food to their families. The Grab employees also expressed their gratitude towards him for his kindness and generosity.
Here is the full post:
“I PRANKED GRAB FOOD DRIVERS THIS RAINY APRIL FOOLS DAY.
And it’s not what you think. So, I booked some food deliveries, paid for them, and asked the riders to not deliver it to my home — because it’s theirs to bring home to their families and have an amazing dinner tonight.
Coincidentally, one of the riders was named Emily. When I called her to say don’t come here with the food and instead go to her family and eat with them, she was surprised and cried. Really reminded me of my mom who did a lot of things to make our lives easier.
We can’t be heroes to everybody, but if we can make someone smile and be a blessing to them, even just for a day, then we are doing a great job. ”
The social media users expressed their reactions to the post:
April Fools’ Day is an annual custom observed every 1 April consisting of practical jokes and hoaxes. Jokesters often expose their actions by shouting “April Fools!” at the recipient. Mass media can be involved in these pranks, which may be revealed as such the following day
