The heartwarming video footage of a deliver rider’s prank to son that turned into a surprise goes viral after it was posted online.
A Facebook user named Michael Verdadero has shared the video footage of how he pulled a prank on his son before giving the real deal. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the delivery employee arrived on his home while his son warmly welcomed him at the doorstep. The young boy was very excited when he saw the paper bag of “Jollibee”.
Michael give the Jollibee paper bag to his son ‘Israel’ and let the kid open it. unfortunately, the boy’s excitement turned to disappointment after learning that the bag contains chips instead of Jollibee meal.
Israel expressed his dismay after the packs of curls and threw it on the floor. After a few moment, the Grab rider took the real surprise and gave the pack of Jollibee meals containing burgers and sundaes.
“Pagkauwi po kasi ng asawa ko gusto niya makipaglaro muna sa bata. Umuuwi talaga siya on time para makipagkulitan sa [kay Israel],” the rider’s wife Mary Rose Felipe said.
Mary Rose also revealed that her partner regularly brings ‘Pasalubong’ and other surprises for them. He often brings surprises when his son had a request.
“Pag kaya niya, ibinibigay namin. Pero hangga’t maari, hindi niya po sinasanay nang may pasalubong lagi. Sobrang importante sa amin na mabigyan siya [Israel] ng oras, ‘yung saya, at ‘yung nararamdaman nila ang love ng magulang,” Felipe added.
