Nadine Lustre talked about her relationship with Chris Bariou
The “LDR” (long-distance relationship) setup that Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre and businessman Christophe Bariou currently have is working well for them.
For the award-winning actress, the dynamic between her and Christophe as a couple is healthy and harmonious, even though they do not see or spend time with each other regularly.
She and her partner reportedly understand each other when it comes to their life priorities and, of course, their respective careers. The actress talked about her dynamics with Chris during her recent guesting on the “Almost Honest” podcast hosted by actress-model Kylie Verzosa, based on the article in Bandera.
“I love space. He loves having space for himself and I love having space for myself because when we are not together, those are the times when we work on ourselves. We discover new things about ourselves,” Nadine Lustre said.
Nadine believes that individual experiences and opportunities are healthy for a relationship, as they foster what is known as self-discovery.
“Para kang nagsolo adventure and then babalik ka, you will come home, babalitaan mo siya, ‘I bring you here. I discovered this new spot,’ ganyan. ‘I learned something new,” the award-winning actress said.
She pointed out that this is nice because there are things that she discovers about herself that she probably won’t discover if she’s with her partner.
The actress stressed that it is not a bad thing. Some people may think that partners should always be together.
Nadine also said that from the very beginning she knew that Chris’s life is in Siargao, while her life is in Manila. However, the long-distance relationship that they have works very well for them.
“The thing is, if you are in the right relationship, it’s going to be effortless,” Nadine Lustre emphasized.
