Charlie Dizon had the chance to shoot an MMK episode with Kiko Estrada
Kapamilya actress Charlie Dizon shared how was it like to work with actor Kiko Estrada in an episode of the longest-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya.
Charlie, even though she has not spent so many years yet in showbiz, has already proven her acting prowess. Her first movie gave her Best Actress trophies and she continues to soar in the entertainment industry.
Fans are now waiting for her new MMK episode with Kiko Estrada. Charlie Dizon admitted that she was apprehensive that there might be an awkward moment between her and his leading man, based on the article in Inquirer.
“When I learned that he would be my partner, I felt shy because I have never met him in person before,” she said adding that portraying real people who are lovers, somehow gave her that awkward feeling.
However, Charlie said that when they did their pictorial for this project, she and Kiko easily got along. “We were sharing jokes with each other right away. I knew then that work would be easy with Kiko,” the actress added.
Charlie also shared that Kiko would memorize his script beforehand and they talked about their characters, including the dynamic of being a couple onscreen. Since the actor came from a showbiz clan, the actress said that her leading man would share his parents’ advice when it comes to acting.
Meanwhile, Charlie Dizon said that she would like to go to the next level also when it comes to her acting career. However, she said that it really depends on the project and the people she would be closely working with. On the other hand, she said that she will make sure that she will learn something from each project that is given to her.
