Charlie Dizon doesn’t mind not having a love team partner
Kapamilya actress Charlie Dizon shared her thoughts on being paired with different leading men, unlike other actresses of her generation.
Charlie made her debut movie three years ago and it was a huge success. When she did Fan Girl with Paulo Avelino, she became a household name. She already received two Best Actress awards from the said movie, one is from Metro Manila Film Festival while the other one is from The Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards or the EDDYS.
Charlie also had the chance to work with Joshua Garcia in the Kapamilya series Viral Scandal. She was paired with Jameson Blake for an episode of Maalala Mo Kaya and she will have an upcoming episode with Kiko Estrada.
Fans have noticed that the actress was able to create good onscreen chemistry with her leading men. Based on the article in Manila Bulletin, Charlie Dizon prefers this career path and she is happy that her management did not market her as part of a love team.
She shared that she is lucky to have leading men who are easy to work with. Charlie did not have a difficult time building the rapport that she should have with her leading men and it was because of her bubbly personality.
“Siyempre depende sa kung sino ka-partner. Siyemre sa una iche-check ko muna kung madali ba kausapin… pero usually ako na po yung kuma-kamusta agad, nagpapakilala po ako agad,” the Kapamilya actress said.
Thankfully, Charlie Dizon said that it is also because of her leading men who are “mababait.” “Lahat madali katrabaho,” the actress added. She also shared that she learned a lot from the different leading men that she had.
