One of the most in-demand leading men from the Kapamilya network is Gerald Anderson who is currently doing project after project. Despite the shutdown of his network and the changes the pandemic has brought in the production shoot, he never ran out of opportunities.
Just recently, he is among the artists who signed an exclusive contract with the ABS-CBN network along with are Ronnie Alonte, Loisa Andalio, Jolina Magdangal, Shaina Magdayao, Sam Milby, Erich Gonzales, Zanjoe Marudo, Jake Cuenca, Gary Valenciano, and Regine Velasquez. The signing happened last February 23. This celebration of commitment also kicked off the yearlong celebration of Star Magic’s 30th anniversary.
And now, for those who wanted to follow in the footsteps of these artists, Anderson and other stars share secrets and tips to be successful in the industry. According to the Kapamilya actor, what he does is to set an example. One has to show professionalism in working and kindness to everyone in the set.
As for Cuenca, he shared what he was advised by the network and that is to “just be you”. One must not pretend just to fit in. One has to be truthful and honest because only in being true that one will stand out. He also echoed Anderson’s statement about being kind and professional.
For Andalio, her advice is to just keep on dreaming but also, work for that dream to come true. The young actress shared that nothing will happen without action. She said based on a report from PUSH, “Huwag kayong susuko sa pangarap niyo. Kasi once na gusto mo talaga yung bagay at para sa ‘yo talaga, talagang ibibigay ni Lord para sa ‘yo.”
