Malicious rumors about them came to a height when Bea Alonzo hinted that the young actress was the reason why she and Gerald have broken up. Also, she has always been consistent in saying that the Kapamilya actor ghosted her, gaslighted her, dumped her, and cheated.
It was just this year that Anderson has confirmed that Julia is his girlfriend but did not disclose how long they have been together. And despite the many months after the controversial relationship confirmation, controversies still follow them. However, it seemingly appears that they are choosing battles now. They believe that if one is already unhappy with the partnership, they see it as a valid reason to leave and to abandon the relationship. It looks like for them, if the person is no longer happy, it would be just okay to end the relationship rather than lengthen the loneliness.
However, some netizens disagree with this. They believe that bumps and challenges are just normal to make the foundation stronger. Maturity in a relationship can also come with the realization that it won’t be about happiness all the time. Meanwhile, others are subjective to this. They see the point of what the statement implies but such would only be right as long as they will end the relationship decently and not just “ghost” the other one who is still clinging to love.
