Born on May 23, 1984m, Sam Milby’s real name is Samuel Lloyd Lacia Milby. He is a Filipino-American who was born and raised in Troy, Ohio. He is the youngest child of his parents and, growing up, he focused on ice skating. He was just nine (9) years old when he started training.
Sam lived with his ice-skating coach. He was under home schooling until he was 15 years old. His and his partner in ice skating’s hardwork was paid off as they hit awards. They even won a silver award in ice skatin.
Currently, aside from being an actor, he is also a singer, a commercial model, a businessman , a recording artist, and a musician. Sam Milby’s age now is 36 years old.
Sam Milby Showbiz Career
Sam was first seen on TV in a Close Up TV commercial with Barbie Almalbis. After it, he joined the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Big Brother which became his entry ticket to the showbiz industry. Even after his PBB stint, he managed to remain in the limelight and received numerous acting and singing projects.
As an actor, his first major film was Close To You with Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz. He also did several television series including Maging Sino Ka Man, Only You, and Halik. As a singer, he held concerts including “Heartthrobs” and and “Sam Milby: Rockoustic Heartthrob”.
Sam is close to a lot of people in the showbiz industry and many can attest to how great he is as a friend. Among the people closest to him are his business partner, John Prats, and singer Moira dela Torre whom he treats like his own younger sister.
