Here’s what Kris Aquino said when she announced she’s going offline.
KRIS AQUINO – Former television host Kris Aquino will be undergoing a new treatment and announces going offline for a while.
Since Kris Aquino has stepped out of the limelight, her health deteriorated. She had an autoimmune disease and she suffered severe weight loss. She’s now all bones and skin and low in energy opposite to what she was before everything happened – lively, joyful, and full of energy. She has chronic spontaneous urticaria and she’s been dealing with it for years now.
Just recently, she went through some tests in preparation for a new treatment she’s about to receive. She now weighs 86 pounds and does not have cancer or diabetes based on the results of the recent tests she took. Her kidney and liver are also functioning well, given all her maintenance medications.
And before doing the treatment, she formally bid goodbye to her followers for a while. Accordingly, before doing the treatment she did not disclose until now, she needs complete rest and be as stress-free as possible.
She expressed, “1st dose ito, pero alam ko yung possible risks involved. Please pray for the doctors & nurses na magaalaga sa kin. The whole process will take about 4 hours plus observation time. 3 days rest before and 3 days rest after. i have faith in God’s plan and His timing.”
Meanwhile, Kris remains a strong face amid a recent breakup with Mel Senen Sarmiento, former secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). Their engagement was called because of health and safety issues and she was the one who initiated the split. Mel also admitted that he had bubble fatigue and he doesn’t want to expose her to the virus whenever he goes outside given her health condition the reason why he accepted her offer to end their relationship.
