PAGASA Says Shear Line to Bring Cloudy Skies w/ Scattered Rains in Most of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (January 19)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that cloudy condition with scattered rains will prevail over most of the country.

On Wednesday (January 19, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The shear line will continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the Shear Line will be affecting the eastern section of Visayas while the Northeast Monsoon would affect Luzon and the rest of Visayas.

The shear line will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Bicol region, Northern Samar, and Eastern Visayas.

Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated light rains over Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, rest of Visayas, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands as well as Mindanao due to the northeast monsoon.

The weather agency has also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The coastal water condition over Northern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao as well as the rest of the country will be moderate to rough.
