Lady Netizen Raises Public Awareness Regarding Reoccurence of ‘Laslas Bag’ Modus
LASLAS BAG MODUS – A lady netizen has warned the public regarding the reoccurrence of thieves using ‘Laslas Bag’ modus.
A Facebook user named Angeline Dagpin has shared the photos of her older sister’s bag with slash on it due to attempted robbery. The post spread like a wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
Dagpin warned her fellow commuters especially those who were riding a public jeepney (Antipolo-Tanay) along De Castro. She warned the public to be more aware and vigilant of their surroundings all the time.
Angeline narrated that she and her older sister were waiting for a Tanay jeepney heading to Tikling when a guy stand beside her sister. The suspect starts to slash her sister’s bag after a beggar asked alms to bystanders.
The suspect is covering his illegal activity using his jacket but he failed to steal the mobile phone and wallet inside the bag. The phone and wallet have been placed inside a pouch making it more difficult for the suspect to steal it.
The thief eventually give up and walk away from the crime scene. Dagpin is thankful that no one got harmed during the incident.

“For awareness po sa lahat.
Sinakto talaga nila na new year.
Ingat po kayo diyan sa De Castro, lalo na yung sumasakay ng jeep pa Antipolo at Tanay, nakasakay kami 5:25pm kami sumakay nakababa kami 5:50pm.
Pasakay kami ng jeep na Tanay going to Tikling, and itong lalaking to kaya pala kahit siksikan na pinipilit niyang merong space sa tabi niya kasi target na pala niya yung bag ng ate ko. Bandang Tikling may umakyat na namamalimos, dun na siya nag start laslasin yung bag ng ate ko using yung blade na hawak niya habang nakaharang yung jacket niya. Buti na lang may nakalagay na pouch dun sa loob ng bag kung san niya nilaslasan yung bag, at di nakuha yung cellphone at wallet ng ate ko. Sabay bumaba na siya ng Tulay sa Tikling nung pinipicturan ko na kasi ramdam ko ng may balak eh, tinginan pa lang magnanakaw na eh. Buti na lang wala namang nasaktan at nawala. Thank God!! Kaya ingat po kayong lahat.
Baka makita niyo tong lalaking tong may tattoo, mukhang may bibiktimahin yan sa jeep na pa-Antipolo at Tanay. Ang lalaki ng katawan ayaw mag trabaho!
