Police Authorities Arrest Woman for Carrying Bread Filled w/ Illegal Drugs
The police authorities arrested a woman carrying several packs of bread containing suspected illegal drugs.
Nowadays, the proliferation of illegal drugs has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various countries all around the world. It causes a surge in the rate of criminality in the country.
The Philippine government and the police authorities have been imposing stricter policy to eradicate illegal drugs in the country but there are still some individuals who were making new strategies to proliferate illegal substances.
The Eastern Police District reported that the woman went to the Marikina City Police Station to visit her live-in partner inside the jail. She is carrying packs of breads for her partner who has been detained inside the prison.
The duty jail officer inspected the goods and discovered illegal drugs filled inside the pack of breads. The cops found a pack of alleged illegal drugs, which has an estimated street value of P6, 800.
The 41-year-old lady guest who is only supposed to visit her live-in partner has been detained inside the jail over possession of illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, the Top 1 and Top 2 from the drugs database of Eastern Police District have been arrested in Marikina. Two men and a woman have been also arrested during a buy-bust operation. The authorities seized illegal drugs worth P34, 000 from the suspects.
