Police Authorities Arrest Pregnant Lady Over Illegal Drug Charges
ILLEGAL DRUGS – The police authorities have arrested a pregnant lady for possessing illegal drugs at Pandacan in Maynila.
Pandacan Police Station has served a warrant of arrest towards a pregnant woman named Elizabeth Quintin for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Quintin is already pregnant for six months.
The police authorities reportedly seized illegal drugs from the female suspect’s possession. The cops nabbed the woman through the help of some informant, according to Pandacan Police Station Deputy Commander Pmaj. Geo Colibao.
“Sa lugar po na pinangyarihan siyempre nandiyan po yung mga tinatawag nating drug den, mahilig silang pumunta doon tapos siyempre bibili sila doon ng droga tapos yung operatiba naman natin naaktuhan dahil sa tulong ng ating confidential informant,” Colibao said.
Quintin admitted she purchase crystal meth but she has just been instructed to do so. The suspect bought P50 worth of illegal drugs and it was her first to do such thing because she barely survive due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Pandemic po nun wala po kaminig diskarte noon, P50 lang po yun, isang beses lang naman po yun,” Quintin said.
Meanwhile, another suspect named Louie Diwa has been arrested after he was involved in a shoplifting incident. The culprit explained someone invited him for a gimmick to earn money without knowing that his colleagues were shoplifters.
