The Pasig LGU also gave Coney Reyes a “Pamaskong Handog”
Veteran actress Coney Reyes shared that she also received a “Pamaskong Handog” from the local government unit of Pasig City and her son Mayor Vico Sotto revealed something about this.
It is known to many people that the popularity of Mayor Vico is not just because he is the son of Coney and Vic Sotto, two of the most prominent personalities in Philippine showbiz. The young mayor is popular on his own right because of what he is doing for his constituents.
Since he was elected as Mayor of Pasig in 2019, his administration has been giving goodies for all the residents during the holiday season. In a recent Instagram post of Coney Reyes, she shared that she also received the goodies and this made her so happy.
“So happy and excited to receive my #PamaskongHandogNgPasig,” she wrote in the caption of her post. The veteran actress also thanked the cheerful volunteers who brought the goodies.
In the Twitter post of Mayor Vico, he shared the post of his mother and shared a funny story about the “Pamaskong Handog”. He confirmed that indeed his mother was so happy to receive the goodies. It is because last year, the veteran actress was not able to receive one.
“Last year kasi pinamigay ko yung para sa bahay namin,” the young Mayor said adding that his mother requested that she would like to experience receiving one. “Sabi niya, ok lang naman ipamigay ,pero sana mahawakan niya man lang daw muna. Ngayon, siya na mismo ang sumalubong sa team,” the son of Coney Reyes revealed.
The Pasig City Mayor also included in his Twitter post the latest update on the “Pamaskong Handog”. He said that as of December 8, 62 percent has been given already.
