Coney Reyes Is 6,318th Senior Citizen To Be Vaccinated Against COVID-19 Says Vico Sotto
VICO SOTTO – Politician Vico Sotto said his mom Coney Reyes is the 6,318th senior citizen to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
In January, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto assured that all the residents in their city will be vaccinated for free. He said that they will not give special treatment to anyone in their COVID-19 vaccination program.
The 31-year-old politician recently said the even his mom, veteran actress Coney Reyes, has to follow the process. In a Facebook Live update on April 12, he shared that his mom is will receive her COVID-19 jab either “next week or this weekend.”
Mayor Vico Sotto revealed that his mom Coney Reyes feels a bit nervous but she’s willing to get vaccinated. “Medyo kinakabahan din siyang mabakunahan, pero willing na naman siya,” he said.
On Saturday, April 17, the politician took to his Twitter account to share that his mom already received her vaccine shot against COVID-19. In the caption, he said Coney was the 6,318th Pasigueño senior to get vaccinated. He also said his mom followed the right process and went through the city’s “first-to update-first-served” policy.
“This AM, my mom was the 6,318th Pasigueño senior to get vaccinated!” he wrote.

In a post on her Instagram account last April 17, Coney Reyes also shared a photo of herself holding the “I got vaccinated!” sign. In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Had my first vaccine shot senior citizen po! today at the Pasig Mega Parking. Thank You, Lord! I ask You to Please Bless all the medical frontliners, healthcare workers, security personnel, and everyone else involved in facilitating the vaccination process.”
