Son of Richie D’ Horsie Apologized Over Scripted Tirade Against Manila Mayor Isko Moreno

Sone of the late comedian Richie D’ Horsie apologized publicly for the alleged scripted tirade against Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno.

Alexis John Romero spoke forward and disclosed the truth about the Manila City Hall personnel purportedly being fired for demonstrating support for Manila Mayor Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s presidential competitor. Romero expressed regret for exposing himself to Yorme in such a public manner.

Romero said in a now-deleted interview with vlogger Kabayan JDB on YouTube that the Manila City Hall has fired five employees, including himself, for supposedly supporting Bongbong. He stated that when Moreno’s party ran into Marcos’, Romero allegedly made a ‘peace sign’ as a display of support for Moreno’s opponent for mayor of Manila.

Romero’s admission, on the other hand, drew backlash on social media and elicited a flurry of responses from internet users. Romero was forced to stand up and expose the truth about the tirade as a result.

In a video uploaded on YouTube, Romero apologized and explained that the situation was all scripted during the interview with the ABS-CBN team. He went on to say that the YouTuber had compelled him to tell the lies in front of the public.

According to him, he worked at Manila City Hall under the regime of former Mayor Erap Estrada, not during Moreno’s. Romero became teary-eyed as he begged the public for forgiveness.
