Paulo Avelino was asked about LJ Reyes
Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino avoided answering directly the question about his co-parenting status with Kapuso actress LJ Reyes.
During the second interview of King of Talk Boy Abunda with LJ, the latter revealed that when she and her former partner Kapuso actor Paolo Contis separated, Paulo, contacted her.
LJ said that she and Paulo have been communicating for the sake of their son Aki who is now 11 years old. The Kapamilya actor also said that LJ could tell her anything that their son needs.
The Kapuso actress, her son Aki, and her daughter Summer with Paolo are currently staying in New York. During a recent virtual press conference for Season 2 of the Kapamilya primetime series Marry Me, Marry You, Paulo Avelino was asked about the co-parenting setup that he has with LJ Reyes.
The actor did not answer this question directly but he said that he and Aki have a constant communication. “Sa ngayon, nasa New York siya kung saan nanggaling si LJ. Happy naman siya at nag-aaral siya ngayon. Phone calls every now and then kung kailan siya free,” Paulo shared.
He also shared that since they are in a different time zone, they would talk sometimes so late at night. When asked about his bonding moments with his son, Paulo said that they would always play video games.
“Usually, ang bonding namin, gaming lang talaga. Lumaking mahilig din sa games anak ko. Siguro nagmana rin sa akin,” the actor said.
Reporters were not able to ask further about his private life as he is known to be one of the celebrities who do not divulge personal matters to the public.
