LJ Reyes: Paolo Contis Makes "No Efforts", Paulo Avelino Contacts Her

Kapuso actress LJ Reyes shared that Paolo Contis has not reached out to her yet while Paulo Avelino did.

LJ REYES – Paolo Contis makes “no efforts” while Paulo Avelino contacted her for Aki and here are some other revelations from LJ Reyes.

In an hour-long interview with Boy Abunda over a month ago, Kapuso actress LJ Reyes bared her side regarding the breakup with long-time partner Paolo Contis. She shared that the split was not a mutual decision and months before their relationship officially ended, he changed and became distant. For a time, she held on for the children but it was him who gave up and refused to take them back.

LJ and her two kids are currently in New York and they have been there for over a month now. It’s a part of her process to move on but in her recent interview with the King of Talk, she admitted that flying away did not do anything to make the moving on process become a bit easier. But what’s has been keeping her strong all this time are her kids – Aki and Summer – who are also her very reasons why she decided to speak up.

And now, after the split and everything, LJ revealed in the interview that Paolo has never reached out to her yet. As much as many people are aware, they have been together for six years and they were blessed to have Summer. Paolo has made no efforts yet to talk to her since their much-publicized separation in August.

Meanwhile, Paulo Avelino, the father of her eldest Aki, reached out to her when they went abroad. She shared that they are not friends on an intimate level but they have a pretty much decent relationship as parents for their 11-year-old son. He accordingly contacted her and assured her of his support for their son knowing that she’s going through a difficult time.

She shared in the interview, “Nagsabi lang siya na, parang, ‘I know you’re going through a very difficult time.’ At siyempre, ang iniisip niya rin is si Aki, and if anything daw that I need when it comes to Aki, I can always tell him.”
