Angeline Quinto reminisced her career highs and lows
Kapamilya singer-actress Angeline Quinto shared the highest and the lowest points of her career in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Angeline has been in showbiz for 10 years now. She started her journey when she won in Star Power a decade ago. Based on the article in PUSH, the singer was asked if what was the moment she considered the highest point of her career so far, as well as the lowest point she went through.
Angeline Quinto said that her Araneta concert was the highest point in her career so far. “Pag sinabing Araneta Colisuem, di ba iba pag nakapag-show ka doon. Nakapag-show naman ako before doon pero bilang guest. Naging guest po ako ni Ms. Reg (Regine Velasquez) tsaka ni Sir Ogie (Alcasid), ganun, pero iba din po kasi talaga yung ikaw mismo yung may sariling show,” she shared.
On the other hand, just like many artists, Angeline also had her lowest point and that was the time when her home network, ABS-CBN, was ordered to shut down. ”Kasi parang do’n ako napaisip na parang anong mangyayari?” the singer-actress said.
Angeline admitted that she really got worried about her career as she is the one providing for her family. For her, it was just normal to be worried like that being a Kapamilya because the network has become her second home and has opened a lot of opportunities for her.
“So, nung nag-shutdown ang ABS, ang una kong tanong sa sarili ko, ‘Paano na ang Mama Bob? Paano ko bubuhayin si Mama kung wala akong work?’” Angeline Quinto shared.
On the other hand, the singer-actress is grateful that she was able to keep her job and she even got more projects. She said that the concert that she is doing is a big bonus for her and also her shows abroad like her guesting on Vice Ganda’s concert in the U.S.
