The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that most parts of the country will experience hot and humid weather condition.
On Tuesday (October 19, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update. The northeasterly surface windflow would affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the northeasterly surface windflow/localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.
Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Batanes and Babuyan Islands are also expected to experience similar weather condition.
The northeasterly surface windflow will also bring same weather condition over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are expected.
However, most parts of the country are expected to experience hot and humid weather with chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
“Asahan ang generally maaliwalas na panahon maliban lang sa mga mahinang pulo-pulong pag-ulan dito sa may bandang Batanes at Babuyan group, sa natitirang bahagi ng Luzon ay mainit at medyo maalinsangan. Mainit at maalinsangang panahon din ang bubungad sa ating mga kababayan sa Visayas at Mindanao,” Pagasa weather specialist Chris Perez said
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over northern Luzon would be moderate to rough. The rest of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea condition./
