Birthday Message of VP Leni Robredo for Former DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo
LENI ROBREDO – The Vice President wrote a heart-melting birthday message for her late husband, former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo.
One of the late politicians that many people won’t surely forget is former Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo. Many are grateful over his service to the public when he was still alive.
The former Interior Secretary died in a plane crash in 2012. He was supposedly on his way home to be with his family. His wife was on her way to fetch him.
However, the unfortunate event took place – the plane crashed near the island of Masbate. His death left countless hearts broken.
Although the former Interior Secretary is gone, his legacy has lived on and his life is still being celebrated most especially in Naga. He has served as mayor of the city.
Recently, former Interior Sec. Jesse Robredo will supposedly turn 62 years old. His wife, Vice President Leni Robredo, took to the social media a heartfelt birthday message for her late husband.
The Vice President stated in her Facebook post that Sec. Jesse is the only certainty among the many doubts as she greeted him a happy birthday. Along with it is a sweet photo of them together.
The Vice President was not able to go home to Naga this time for her husband’s birthday due to the community quarantine. Metro Manila is under a Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) now.
Under such quarantine measure, only essential travels are allowed. Also, several mode of transportation are cancelled as the country battles against coronavirus outbreak.
