What happened in the past between Gerald Anderson and Pauleen Luna?
The past issue involving Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson and Eat Bulaga host Pauleen Luna resurfaced because of this recent controversy.
Just recently, veteran entertainment columnist Lolit Solis reacted to the revelations of actor Janus del Prado, who is a close friend of Bea Alonzo, about Gerald and his My Perfect You leading lady Pia Wurtzbach.
Lolit said that with this revelation from Janus, she can say that Gerald is indeed a “lady killer”. One of the netizens who commented on this writeup of the veteran columnist recalled the past issue between Gerald Anderson and Pauleen Luna.
“Naalala ko tuloy yung nagbalak din atang manligaw kay pauleen luna dati pero deny to death siya kasi sila pa ni Kim (Chiu) that time,” Instagram user @mackztynnne commented.
Back in 2008, rumors surfaced linking Gerald and Pauleen. In an interview in October that year, months after Pauleen’s breakup with then Valenzuela Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian, based on the article in GMA, she stressed that she and Gerald were just friends.
The wife of Vic Sotto also mentioned at that time that the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate just visited her in the Eat Bulaga studio and brought food but there was nothing more than that.
However, Gerald Anderson denied that he visited Pauleen Luna and brought her food. In line with this, the Eat Bulaga host fired back saying that she was not lying and there were many people who saw the Kapamilya actor when he visited her.
Pauleen also said that the actor even went to the house of her friend and then co-host Ruby Rodriguez, based on the article in PEP published on December 29, 2008. “He even went to the house of Ruby [Rodriguez] and he was saying, the manager brought him to the house of Ruby. But Ruby doesn’t even know the manager,” Pauleen said during the December 27, 2008 episode of Showbiz Central.
