Here’s what Yassi Pressman said about Julia Montes
Actress Yassi Pressman, the former leading lady of actor-director Coco Martin in Ang Probinsyano has this reaction when asked about actress Julia Montes as the new leading lady.
For several years, Yassi portrayed the character of Alyanna, the love interest of Coco’s character Cardo Dalisay. Their onscreen tandem was well-loved by many and there are even supporters who call themselves CocoYass fans.
On the other hand, early this year, her character already bid goodbye and she was replaced by Jane de Leon. However, Jane had to exit from the show as well because she already started her training for her Darna series.
Then, Julia Montes enters the scene as she is now the new leading lady of Coco Martin. Based on the article in PEP, Yassi Pressman was asked to react to this.
“Definitely a great move,” she said about the inclusion of Julia in the Kapamilya long-running series. “I am so excited. Nung nakita ko, sabi ko, this is definitely a great move. Kasi po, sigurado akong nami-miss ng lahat ng mga tao si Julia Monte,” she added.
Yassi also said that it has long been since Julia was last seen on TV as she took a rest. “I don’t know what she did, but I’m sure it was great for her. And for her to be coming back sa Ang Probinsyano, sigurado po ako na inaabangan ng lahat,” the actress-dancer said.
Yassi Pressman expressed support for her former show. She said that she wishes them the best and she knows that everything that is being done in the show is always exciting.
Previously, the actress mentioned that the conflict in her schedule was the reason why she decided to end her stint in the Kapamilya action-drama series.
Meanwhile, speculations surfaced that the reason why she exited the show was because of Julia who allegedly was getting jealous of the CocoYass onscreen partnership.
