John Estrada is one of the newest cast members of ‘Ang Probinsyano’
Actor John Estrada expressed excitement now that he is part of the Kapamilya long-running action-drama series Ang Probinsyano.
It is not the first time that John will be working with Coco Martin, the lead actor and also one of the directors of the teleserye. In the past, they starred together in the series Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin in 2011 and Ikaw Lamang in 2014.
This year, they will share the same screen again. Based on the article in PEP, John Estrada is one of the new additions in Ang Probinsyano with Julia Montes, Tommy Abuel, Rosanna Roces, Vangie Labalan, Michael Flores, Chai Fonacier, Marela Torre, Elora Españo, and Joseph Marco.
In a text message to entertainment columnist Jerry Olea, John said that he is overwhelmed by this opportunity to in one of the most popular series nowadays. Then, he admitted that this stint is a dream come true for him.
“Honestly, matagal ko nang pinapangarap sumali sa Ang Probinsyano because alam ko, this action-drama series will go down to history as the longest, biggest, top-rated, and most watched TV series ever,” the seasoned actor said.
He added that it has been a belief of many artists that their acting experience would be incomplete if they will not appear on the said series of Cardo Dalisay.
“Sabi nga, kapag artista ka at hindi ka napasama sa Ang Probinsyano, parang kulang ang pagiging artista mo,” John said who is now part of the 6th year of the Kapamilya series.
Meanwhile, John Estrada did a sitcom on TV5 just recently that went controversial when it was reported that her John en Ellen leading lady Ellen Adarna will file a complaint about the alleged protocol violation on the set. This issue reached the point that Derek Ramsay, the fiancé of Ellen, ended his friendship with John.
