Vilma Santos was actively watching the Pacquiao-Ugas fight
Veteran actress-politician Vilma Santos had this amusing reaction during the fight of Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao against Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas.
Filipinos are indeed big fans of boxing, aside from basketball and beauty pageants. People from different walks of life are always setting aside the things that they are doing when it comes to these three events.
Apparently, even Ate Vi was enthusiastically watching the match last Sunday. Her son actor-host Luis Manzano shared a video on his social media accounts showing her amusing reaction while watching the boxing match.
It can be seen in the video that Vilma Santos was standing behind the chair while she was watching. She was even raising her hands to cheer for the Pinoy boxing champ. Then, she also stumped her foot at one point and this showed how indulged she was with what she was watching.
In the caption of Luis Manzano, he quipped that he did not know who he was with if it is was his mother or the mother of Manny Pacquiao. “Di ko alam sino kasama ko sa bahay e, si @rosavilmasantosrecto o si Mommy D, mas apektado pa sya sa family ni MP. Kinakabahan ako, baka ako yung pinusta e,” the TV host wrote.
Luis also shared an update on this. He said, “pinapaligpit na po gamit ko, sabi na e.” In the comment section of his post, the veteran actress-politician commented with, “Anak !!!!! WHY ???? (laughing emojis).”
Several celebrities also expressed amusement to this video of the Star For All Season as they find her reaction “cute”. As of this writing, the video that Luis posted on his Instagram account already has more than 670 thousand views while the same video that was posted on his Twitter account has more than 37 thousand views.
