SB19 nominated in 12 Awit Awards categories
Kings of P-Pop SB19 officially leads the 2026 Awit Awards with 12 nominations, making them the most-nominated artist for the upcoming 39th edition of the prestigious Original Pilipino Music (OPM) awards.
Organized by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), the grand ceremony will take place on September 15, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Fans will the opportunity to attend via ticketed entry for the first time.
Close behind the P-pop kings are the band IV of Spades with 11 nominations and singer-songwriter Dionela with 10 nods.

The group’s nominations highlighted their critically acclaimed EP Simula at Wakas as well as high-profile collaborations.

This achievement follows their performance at Lollapalooza, bringing their career total to 133 nominations since 2018.

While, SB19 was in the US, they did other appearances also aside from the music festival in Chicago. The P-Pop Kings were featured in the Grammy Museum Global Spin Live in which they answered questions and performed their two hit songs, Wakas and Gento.
They also held their 2-day fan meet. Aside from performing their songs, the group also had fun encounters with their fans, called A’Tin, who are living in the States.
The P-Pop Kings are set to perform at the Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan, making history as the first P-pop boy group to grace the stage of one of Asia’s largest music festivals.
