Karla Estrada shared this review of Daniel Padilla’s movie
Magandang Buhay host Karla Estrada reacted to this review of the performance of her son Daniel Padilla in the movie Kun Maupay Man It Panahon with the international title Whether the Weather Is Fine.
In the said movie, Daniel starred along with award-winning veteran actress Charo Santos and the story tackles the hardships of a mother and her son after the typhoon Yolanda destroyed Tacloban.
This film by Carlo Manatad has been selected and screened in Locarno Film Festival and it is set to join the list of films included in the Toronto Film Festival.
In a recent Instagram post of Karla Estrada, she shared a screenshot of one of the reviews that focused on the performance of her son Daniel Padilla. The said review was from a certain “luke237” who said that the film is a “visual treat”. Then, the commenter said that the lead actor has complete knowledge of how to control a scene. “He outshines everything in each frame. I would like to watch more from him in the future,” the commenter added.
As the mother of Daniel, Karla is simply the proudest when she saw this review. She said that this is one of the comments that really touched her heart as a mother. This indeed made her emotional not just because of the good review that her son received for his performance but also because of the fact that she had experienced the devastating effect of typhoon Yolanda as well.
Karla shared that her family also went through a tough time and experienced grief for losing their loved ones. “Tubong tacloban ako at purong waray… Kaya ramdam ko ang comments ng mga nakapanood na,” the morning talk show host added.
Several netizens who commented on this post of Karla Estrada congratulated her son and expressed support for this project.
