Here’s what Toni Gonzaga said about choosing projects nowadays
Actress-host Toni Gonzaga revealed how she is choosing the projects she would accept nowadays and this is not based on her ego.
For more than two decades the showbiz career of Toni soared high. Aside from acting in movies and on TV, she also ventured into music and released her own albums.
She is now known as one of the talented talk show hosts in her generation. Toni also did several endorsement projects. Indeed, she is one of the finest stars nowadays.
However, Toni Gonzaga revealed that she is not the same now compared to before when it comes to choosing her projects, based on the article in PUSH. During a recent interview on popular vlogger Wil Dasovich’s vlog, she revealed that her choices are not now based on her ego.
“I am done feeding my ego. I fed my ego for 20-plus years in the industry. I realized that was my biggest enemy, my ego. Because the ego is the idea that you have of yourself, that you’re carrying around you and that’s not helping you,” she shared.
For Toni, the most important factor now is picking the project that is based on her the things she stands for. “The day that you wear your title — Bob Iger said this in The Ride of a Lifetime, he’s the former president of Walt Disney — he said that the moment you wear your title is the day you lose it. Because it’s the one running your life. That’s not who you are anymore,” the actress-host stressed.
Toni Gonzaga added that she is not what the people call and think of her but actually it is just the ego. She stressed that the inner core and the inner being or what is in the heart are more vital.
