Toni Gonzaga talked about how Alex Gonzaga started her YouTube Channel
TV host Toni Gonzaga revealed what happened after her sister Alex Gonzaga was terminated from her former show on ABS-CBN.
In a recent interview by famous vlogger Wil Dasovich for his Superhuman vlogs, Toni shared the story of how Alex started her YouTube channel and eventually she followed.
The wife of filmmaker Paul Soriano was asked why she “walked away from television”. Toni said that she did not walk away because she still has her mainstream talk show which she considers her day job.
On the other hand, through her YouTube channel, she is now showcasing more of her talent in hosting through Toni Talks. She shared that Alex’s channel was initially for the both of them.
“Tinanggalan siya ng show sa network namin and she got so depressed, she was so down,” Toni Gonzaga revealed that it happened in 2017. The girlfriend of Paul Soriano’s brother was the one who suggested Alex to create her own YouTube channel.
That was the start when Alex kept on convincing Toni to have their channel on the video-sharing social media platform. The older Gonzaga also said that her younger sister kept on convincing her with the thought that nobody will watch her if it was just her.
“Kailangan kita para may manood sa akin,” Toni related what Alex told her. For the former, she was not for YouTube because she thinks of herself as a boring person.
It took two years for Toni to be convinced to have her own YouTube channel as well and now, she is one of the most respected personalities on the said platform due to her inspiring interviews.
