Video of Final Moments Before the Tragic C-130 Plane Crash in Sulu Elicits Comments Online
The video footage of final moments before the tragic C-130 plane crash in Sulu, which took the lives of at least 50 military personnel.
Last Sunday (July 4, 2021), the Department of National Defense reported that 50 military personnel died while 49 others survived but suffered injuries as the military transport plane C-130 aircraft crashed in Sulu. 47 soldiers and three civilians died.
The military officials said that the transport plane is supposed to bring the troops from Cagayan de Oro in Mindanao to Sulu province when it missed the runway in Jolo. The incident is considered as the country’s worst military air disaster.
Military spokesman Maj. Gen. Edgard Arevalo reported that the aircraft carries a total of 96 personnel and crew. The troops consist of fresh graduates who have just completed their military training. The armies are supposed to join the battle against terrorism.
Recently, the Facebook page “METRO MANILA FIRE RESCUE VOLUNTEER GROUP (M.M.F.R.G.V)” has shared the video footage of final moments before the tragic C-130 plane crash in Sulu.
In the video, it can be seen that the troops were stepping into the plane and seems to be happy with their line of duty. The video also breaks the hearts of the social media users.
