Here’s why ex-wife of Dave Almarinez was absent at his wedding with actress Ara Mina.
DAVE ALMARINEZ – PITC Usec Dave Almarinez reveals the reason why his ex-wife was not there when he got married to Ara Mina in Baguio.
On June 30, actress Ara Mina and Philippine International Trading Corporation Undersecretary Dave M. Almarinez tied the knot at Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel in Baguio City. It was grand and witnessed by their closest friends and family. She wore a Baroque Rococo-inspired wedding gown designed and created by Leo Almodal and fitted with intricate patterns long gown by Francis Libiran during the reception.
Among their guests is Bulakan, Bulacan Mayor Patrick Meneses, Ara’s ex-boyfriend and the father of her six-year-old daughter. In a sincere message for them, he expressed, “She’s very lucky and Dave’s lucky as well. They found each other. Soulmates sila. I feel so blessed to be part and to witness this ceremony. This is the biggest event in their life.”
Senate President Manny Villar Jr. and wife, Senator Cynthia Villar; Senators Christopher Go, Richard Gordon, Ralph Recto and wife Lipa Congresswoman Vilma Santos-Recto; Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, Glicerio Santos Jr., Dioceldo Sy,.M Atty. Roy Almoro, Reality Films producer Dondon Monteverde, Viva Films producer Vic del Rosario Jr., Dr. Milagros Ong-How, ABS-CBN COO for broadcast Cory Vidanes, San Pedro Laguna Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz, Sharon Cuneta-Pangilinan, Robina Gokongwei-Pe, TV executive Redgie Magno, Emelda Teng, and Jocelyn Lim Chiong were their wedding sponsors.
And while Ara’s former partner was present, why is it that Dave’s ex-wife, on the other hand, was not present? In an interview after their wedding, Dave shared that there something that came up with her child the reason why she was not able to attend.
“May baby sila na immature na nag-open heart surgery, nagaa-ICU. So, yun lang naman yun. If not for that, nandito rin,” he shared in the interview. His ex-wife even actually sent a gift for their wedding.
