Authorities arrested ninie (9) residents from Antipolo City after they were discovered presenting fake booking to get free vaccination.

Three suspects attempted to be vaccinated at a vaccination site by showing text messages apparently from the Antipolo Vaccination Operation Center (AVOC) alerting them that they were due to be immunized on that day, according to the Mayor’s Facebook post.

However, when they checked the system, their names were not on the schedule and the number allegedly texted them the said appointment did not belong to the Antipolo Vaccination Operation Center.

As a result, nine residents were arrested and escorted to the police station, where they admitted to the fraud (text fraud). As a result, Ynares reminded citizens to follow the correct procedure.
