Did Mario Maurer made “panliligaw” to Erich Gonzales?
La Vida Lena actress Erich Gonzales was asked during a recent guesting on Magandang Buhay if Thai actor Mario Maurer courted her.
Erich and Mario first worked together in the movie Suddenly It’s Magic back in 2012. That movie project that was under Star Cinema became a way that the friendship between bloomed. In a previous interview, Erich shared that her communication with Mario never stopped.
Over the years, they were able to maintain the said friendship between them. In a recent guesting of Erich Gonzales in the Kapamilya morning talk show, mamshie Melai Cantiveros asked her if there was a time in the past when their relationship became more than friends.
“Next assumption, niligawan ni Mario Maurer noon,” Melai said. Mamshie Jolina Magdangal said, “Question ko rin ‘yan dati.” Erich denied this and said that this assumption about her is false.
The young actress stressed that Mario is like a “barkada” to her. Erich then shared that the Thai actor was supposed to visit the Philippines but this did not push through because of the pandemic.
She added that Mario wanted to visit the beautiful beaches in the country and she will be his tour guide. Then, Jolina asked Erich to confirm that one of Mario’s family members is close to her.
The actress said that she is close also to Mario’s brother Marco because she was the one who directed the latter’s music video when he visited Manila for the said project.
“Na-meet ko yung brother at tsaka yung mom niya. And then, yung brother niya, noong meron siyang ni-release na kanta, nakiusap lang siya na i-direk ko daw,” Erich Gonzales shared.
