Lucy Torres made this revelation about Richard Gomez
Leyte 4th District Representative Lucy Torres revealed why her husband Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez would cry when they attend weddings.
Richard and Lucy are among the most admirable celebrity couples in the Philippines. Their love story is one of those that would inspire the hopeless romantics. However, now that their daughter Juliana is already 20 years old, Richard feels the tension when the topic is about love and relationship.
“Lucy just turned 23 when I married her, and now Juliana is 20. Ang bilis ng panahon!” the actor-politician said, based on the article in Bandera.
With this, Lucy Torres laughed and shared a story about Richard Gomez. She said that her husband is getting emotional every time they attend weddings.
“When we attend weddings, kapag father and daughter dance na, I whisper to him, ‘Can you imagine si Juliana ‘yan?’ Hala, tulo na ang luha n’yan! And then he will look up to heaven and say, ‘God, no not yet!’” the actress-politician quipped.
Then, Richard Gomez said that he would always tell their daughter to be careful when it comes to choosing the person she wants to marry. He would tell Juliana to choose the man that will really make her happy.
In one interview, Lucy Torres had this advice for their unica hija when it comes to the person she wants to marry in the future. “Who you marry is the most important decision you make, the right partner can make you soar, the wrong one will clip your wings,’ the congresswoman said.
