Mikee Quintos Draws the Line and Says No to Cheaters Forever
MIKEE QUINTOS – Love may come with second chances for some, but Mikee Quintos believes there is one mistake she can no longer forgive.
Kapuso actress Mikee Quintos expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Regal Entertainment after being chosen as part of the cast of the upcoming film Saving Cherry, a project that she considers a significant milestone in her career.
The actress shared how excited she is to be part of the movie, especially because it marks the first time she will be working alongside Kapuso Primetime Drama Princess Barbie Forteza. For Mikee, joining the cast is more than just another acting opportunity—it is a memorable experience she believes will help her grow as an artist.

Aside from Barbie Forteza and Mikee Quintos, the film also features an ensemble cast that includes Khalil Ramos, Mika Salamanca, AC Bonifacio, Sassa Gurl, Joey Marquez, JC Alcantara, and Kokoy De Santos. Saving Cherry is directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal and is expected to deliver an emotional and engaging story when it hits cinemas.
During the film’s recent grand mediacon, Mikee openly shared that Barbie Forteza was one of the biggest reasons she accepted the project.
“Sinabi ko kay Barbie na isa sa mga rason kung bakit din ako umoo is because she’s leading it. And for my very first movie, it’s an honor to support Barbie.
“Girl, pasabog ka rito! Pasabog siya dito and I’m so honored to be part of that. I know it’s a milestone in your career, that’s why it will be a milestone in mine,” said Mikee.
The cast members were also asked an interesting question during the event—whether people who cheat in relationships deserve to be given a second chance.
Mikee admitted that her perspective on the issue has changed over time, particularly when it comes to romantic relationships.
“Deserve ba ng mga cheaters ng second chance? Full transparency. I used to believe na wala naman talaga kasing perfect.
“So, I used to believe na puwede, okay lang ‘yon. And the important thing is the why, ‘yung sagot sa kung bakit nagawa,” the Kapuso star said.

However, she revealed that she no longer shares that belief.
“But now I agree with Khalil na no because giving a chance to a cheater, ‘yung chance is hindi para don sa cheater, ‘yung compromise mas nasa iyo. So, no. No more. That’s the answer.”
With her honest remarks, Mikee made it clear that while people can change, she no longer believes that cheating in a relationship deserves another opportunity. Her candid response resonated with many, highlighting the importance of self-worth and knowing when to walk away from unhealthy relationships.
Meanwhile, audiences can catch Saving Cherry in cinemas nationwide beginning September 2.
