MARIS RACAL – Young actress Maris Racal has this revelations about boyfriend Rico Blanco and their beautiful relationship as couple.
‘Pinoy Big Brother: All In housemate Maris Racal came out as the girlfriend of OPM icon Rico Blanco. The relationship announcement trended online following the sweet birthday greeting of the former which gained an “I love you” reply from the male singer.
The big age gap between her and Rico was never an issue to them and even quipped they are unbothered to what people would negatively say about their relationship. Rico is 25 years older than her but many people get so “kilig” imagining that the singer-songwriter sings his song “Your Universe” to her.
Their story all started when they did a collaboration. As a new singer, she decided to be with people who can help her grow and Rico is one of the best in the industry. Their collaboration was supposed to be for music only but they didn’t expect the surprise that they will also collaborate as a couple in real life.
He accordingly helped her a lot in terms of writing songs and telling her the right things to do in her career. She shared, “In fairness naman kay Rico marami talaga siyang sine-share sa akin kasi as we all know meron naman siyang napatunayan sa music industry and then ako I’m just starting. So he really helps me, but at the same time he doesn’t over step.”
He lets her be what she wants to be but also guiding her at the same time given his experience in the music industry. And when asked the best song that would describe their relationship, she said, “Wala akong maisip. Nahihiya ako. Hahaha! Puwedeng ano na lang, ‘Time After Time.’ Maganda kasi yung song and siguro yan yung best song that can describe our relationship.”
