MARIS RACAL – The young Kapamilya actress-singer spoke about her rumored boyfriend, Rivermaya’s Rico Blanco.
One of the celebrity updates that recently took social media by storm is the speculation on the real score between Maris Racal and Rico Blanco.
The two (2) celebrities are known in different fields – although Maris also sings. The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate is more on acting projects while Rico is in the music industry.
A lot of people were surprised when Maris took to the social media a birthday greeting for Rico which includes a video of them performing a duet of Aqualung’s song “Brighter than Sunshine”.
There was a part in the video that Maris seemingly attempted to kiss Rico but they shifted it to a fist bump instead. Even director Antonette Jadaone thought that the two (2) celebrities will kiss.
The speculations on the real score between Maris and Rico were even more heightened by the 25-year age gap of the two celebrities. Meanwhile, visibly, a lot of people are happy for them.

Recently, Maris Racal spoke about her rumored boyfriend, Rico Blanco. Based on a report on Pep, the admiration of the actress-singer for the Rivermaya co-founder is really evident. According to her, whenever they are in the studio together, if she would type what he’s saying, he’ll get out with three (3) books every session.
Maris is a talent under the Balcony Entertainment, the artist management and record label led by Rico. According to her, he really has a lot of words of wisdom in music.
“Amazing is an understatement kapag nagka-collab ka with Rico kasi… siya kasi nag-produce ng song ko. So, yung goal niya talaga is artist-centric,” she said based on the report.
Maris expressed that Rico wants to do what the artist wants and he would make it beautiful a hundred times. The song she wrote entitled “Not for Me” will be produced by him. According to her, she usually reaches out to him while writing it and she’s very excited to shoe the progress of the song to him.
