Why did Ogie Diaz take down the second part of his interview with Dennis Padilla?
Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz explained his decision to take down the part two of his YouTube interview with actor Dennis Padilla.
To recall, that said interview went controversial as it featured the statement of Dennis about his daughter Julia Barretto’s relationship with Gerald Anderson. In that portion, he also mentioned about the “last name issue” as they were reports in the past that his children wanted to change “Baldivia” to “Barretto”.
In the recent Showbiz Update vlog of Ogie Diaz, he revealed why he decided to delete that part. He said that aside from the fact that it was his decision to take it down, Dennis Padilla also asked him to do so.
“Tumawag din si Dennis sa akin na nakikiusap na baka pwedeng i-down ko yung part two,” Ogie said. However, the talent manager stressed that Dennis is standing up for what he said during the interview.
As a father, Dennis can’t stand the bashing that his daughter Julia received after the said interview. That is why he asked Ogie to take the video down.
“Kung baga, umiral ang pagka-ama ni Dennis. Yung kaniyang awa sa kaniyan anak na si Julia ay alam mo na, nanaig,” Ogie Diaz said. He added that he also feels pity for Julia when he reads the comment against the young actress.
Previously, the vlog of Julia in which she interviewed her father became unavailable on her YouTube channel. This happened after Ogie’s interview with Dennis. The talent manager also said that it appeared that the children of Dennis were judged immediately after the interview.
