Born on February 9, 1962, actor-comedian Dennis Padilla’s real name is Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia. He is the son of the late Dencio Padilla and Catalina Dominguez. Aside from being an actor and comedian, he is also a television host, a radio broadcaster, and a former politician.
Dennis have three (3) children with his ex-wife, Marjorie Barretto. It was in 1997 when the two (2) celebrities officially tied the knot. The then actress already has a daughter, Dani Barretto, from her previous relationship with Kier Legaspi. Meanwhile, she and her stepfather visibly has a good relationship.
The marriage of Dennis and Marjorie were blessed with three (3) kids – Julia Barretto, Claudia Barretto, and Leon Barretto. However, in 2007, the relationship of the two (2) celebrities led to separation and the annulment of their marriage. Their three (3) children remained with their mother.
Dennis Padilla found another love in the person of a non-showbiz Australian-Filipina, Linda Gorton. He was only a kid when Dennis Padilla started his showbiz career. He played as the young Fernando Poe Jr. in the 1977 film Totoy Bato. It is one of his most memorable films as he was with “Da King” who is his godfather.
Dennis Padilla’s age now is 59 years old. Even before his retirement age, he was able to do more than 50 movies in his career span. He has played the “father” roles of several young celebrities in the industry and he is looking forward to working with his daughter, Julia Barretto.
