Bela Padilla Defends Ivana Alawi From Basher
BELA PADILLA – Filipina actress and screenwriter Bela Padilla claps back at netizen who mocked Ivana Alawi’s acting skills.
Filipino-Moroccan actress, vlogger, and social media star Ivana Alawi emerged into the spotlight by appearing in small roles in ABS-CBN. In 2019, she starred in the network’s crime drama tv series “Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa.”
Ivana played the pivotal character of Lolita del Rio, an ill-fated neophyte lawyer maltreated by her husband Lucio, played by Jay Manalo. The show also stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Kit Thompson, and Bela Padilla.
Ivana Alawi starred in the music video of singer-songwriter Adie’s hit song “Paraluman.” The music video written and directed by Bela Padilla was released on OC Record’s Youtube channel on Saturday, June 6.
The music video showed Adie and Ivana forming a connection during a short ride on the same elevator. Despite the limited time they spent talking, the two lead stars looked charmed by each other.

Bela Padilla took to her Instagram account to expressed her gratitude to everyone who became part of the music video including Adie and Ivana Alawi.
She told the vlogger, “@ivanaalawi thank you for saying yes and for being so gracious with your time and talent! You are a doll in real life and on-screen.
“And of course to @adadieee thank you for blessing us all with this LSS inducing song that warms my heart every time it plays. May you reach great heights and beyond,” she said, talking to the singer.
One netizen ridiculed the acting skills of Ivana Alawi. He mocked the acting ability of the vlogger through his comment: “LOL. Ivana. In acting?”
The Kapamilya actress called out the basher and asked him the question: “What’s funny?”
