Cebu Pacific Releases Announcement on Inbound & Outbound Flights To Dubai

CEBU PACIFIC – The airline cancelled all its inbound and outbound flights to Dubai starting June 1 until June 15, 2021.

The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the inbound and outbound travels in several countries including the Philippines. Travel restrictions are implemented in the pursuit to stop the spread of coronavirus which has already cost millions of lives across the globe.

Vaccinations are currently ongoing in the different nations. In the Philippines, the vaccination of the healthcare workers, the senior citizens, and those who have co-morbidities have already started. The families of the healthcare workers are also prioritized.

Amid the ongoing fight against the spread of coronavirus, everyone is still encouraged to stay at home if not for very essential purposes. The whole country remains under community quarantine measures.

Currently, the Philippines is implementing a travel ban covering travelers from seven countries – India, Oman, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, and Nepal. The travel restrictions are set until the mid of June.

In line with the travel ban set by the national government to curb the spread of COVID-19, Cebu Pacific Air announced the cancellation of inbound and outbound flights from Dubai. The affected passengers are those who have scheduled flights between June 1 to June 15.

According to Cebu Pacific, passengers affected by the flight cancellation have several options including getting a refund, rebooking their tickets, or storing the amount of their ticket to a travel fund. The airline advises passengers to check the real-time status of their flights before heading to the airport. It is also essential to check on the travel requirements and the protocols before the flight.
